Overview
Light in the Dark (Limyè nan Fènwa) was originally a winning entry for a 3D animated fight choreography contest. The present clip is a refined version of that project with the well appreciated permission of ProjectTrinity.
Many aspects of the characters were changed.
- Gèp (originally Hajah) is a female swordsman and is given a katana. She has a samurai-like fighting style.
- Krikèt (originally Inali) is a hand-to-hand combat fighter.

Story
The community of Ravèt has kidnapped Koukouy in order to conceal her light and stop her from preventing them to roam freely throughout the land. They venture in the dark and they prefer the dark.
But Gèp and Krikèt, Koukouy two little sisters, set out to look for her. After a long period of time, on the way, Gèp found Koukouy's light, and then finally where the Ravèt are holding her. Gèp decides to go save her by herself, although not knowing if she'll succeed nor what lies ahead.

There are many variations of the Ravet army. - Ravet Soldiers, in dark grey, are the weakest of them all but compensate by their numbers. - Ravet fighters, in light green, are the most fitted for combat - Ravet Busters, big and green, equipped with metal knuckles are the strongest but the slowest - Ravet Jumpers, in light green, equipped with metal guards on their forearms and legs are the most proficient in defense, acrobatics and kick attacks. |
Production
Characters
All characters were originally modeled by GlassGuise. They were modified by Mascoth. The body rigging were adjusted and facial rigging was added. But clothing were basically untouched, whick explains why the clothing is often penetrating the mesh models during animation.
Scenes
All scenes were modeled by GlassGuise and provided by Project Trinity.
Animation
All animation were done by Mascoth. The overall animation process took about 2 months to complete.
Sound and Video Editing
All sound design, music editing and video editing were done by Mascoth, along with the composition of scenes and visual effects.

Reception
Light in the Dark is generally well received by the Haitian community, but certain experts in the field have certain reasonable criticism about the technical and conceptual aspects of the project. The global audience have yet to express their opinion on the project.
